Patagonia SLC is proud to partner with Winter Wildlands Alliance and Wasatch Backcountry Alliance to present the 20th annual Backcountry Film Festival! Presented by Winter Wildlands Alliance, the annual Backcountry Film Festival celebrates the power and spirit of humans in winter. Out of 320+ films submitted, the Backcountry Film Festival film selection committee had chosen this year's very best stories of backcountry adventure and snow cinema by human-powered athletes, brands, activists, and adventurers.Â
Â
Grab your friends, come on out and immerse yourself in a night of films that celebrate the power and spirit of humans in winter. Adventure, travel, ski culture, ice, pain, suffering, laughter, DEEP POWDER! - you'll find it all in this year's lineup.
Â
This is a free event that welcomes all ages. Come early and grab a delicious bite to eat with our featured food truck, "Girls Who Smash".
A donations-based opportunity-to-win gear will be presented at the end of the event featuring various Patagonia items. Funds raised through the opportunity-to-win will support Wasatch Backcountry Alliance and the work that they do to protect and advocate for backcountry terrain and access, while educating and informing, our community.
